MOBAs to keep in mind - part 1

The world of games seems to grow day by day and so does the raising popularity of eSports. This being said, it makes sense that many games in different varieties are about to release.

Let's take a look on some MOBA games you should keep in mind.

 1. SMITE
With its upcomming regional championships and world championship I got the feeling to talk more about SMITE.

SMITE is a MOBA published by Hi-Rez Studios.
Unlike other MOBA such as LoL or Dota2, SMITE is played in a third person perspective behind the character. This is quite unique and you are only able to see what is in front of you. But it allows you for example to sneak up at an enemy from behind to gank. Furthermore you have to use your mouse to manually aim all of your abilities and auto attacks.
In SMITE you play a God (here's the complete list of available gods) in the battlefield. You have to work with your team to defeat the enemy team's Minotaur. Same as in League of Legens you have to kill the enemy's minions and turrets to make your way through to the Minotaur. For new players, Smite even offers the option of auto-buying items as well as auto-leveling abilities until you get a better understanding of the game.
At the end of each match whether your team wins or looses, you are rewarded points that you can use to purchase new gods. Save enough and unlock them all!

This was part 1 of the "MOBAs to keep in mind" series. Some more will follow, stay tuned :)
